Is it possible to instal Vista on a second HD and still keep XP on the first. I would like to be able to do this to make it easier to uninstall Vista in the future.

Vista Instal
Not only is it possible, it is recommended ;)

Yes, this works fine... Just make sure:
- You DO NOT select upgrade when Vista setup asks you.... you want to do a clean install - You Select your SECOND hard drive when it asks you where to install .. don't select your XP hard drive by mistake! :)

Yes that is no problem and is indeed a better option. Bung in the DVD while in XP. Setup will launch. Ensure you choose Custom install then you get the choice to install onto D drive (or whatever letter your second drive is).
Thanks guys. Haven't got the dvd yet but will install on second HD when it arrives.

Vista now installed on second HD. Looks 'pretty" but seems veeerry slow. Takes ages to bootup. So far I'm not too excited by it.

It still has lots of debugging code and in general the code is not yet optimized. A lot of the slowness is due to the video driver (the beta video drivers are also not fully debugged or optimized yet either).
